Hey hey BATT Family! Heck Yeah Episode 29! Scott and I had a great time recording this one, but it was a bummer Jason couldn't join us since he was sick on the night of recording. We decided to bring back the Mechanics Shop and discuss one of our favourite mechanisms: Tile Laying! We also got to have a long conversation about one of Mark's favourite games for Why Did It Take So Long to Play That. And finally we wrap this one up with a TST that goes kind of out of order because Scott accidentally brought a game to review he'd already done so with. It's a fun episode in the vein of Season One and we hope you enjoy it!

Rolling in Wonderland (from Bellows Intent) Kickstarter Preview

Hey hey BATT Family! Welcome to this Kickstarter preview for Rolling in Wonderland! The new 2-4 player dice placement and set collection game from Bellows Intent and Borogove Games, this is mid-lightweight game where you'll be rolling a handful of dice and triggering all sorts of asymmetric abilities. 1) Pub Meeple is an EXCELLENT free resource for the board gaming community for those that want to rank their ... whatever grouping. You can use it for things other than board games, but why would you want to?
2) Wish we had more to discuss about Manhattan Project, but Austin was the only one of the three of us to have played it. 
3) The semi abrupt transition from Scott to Austin's number six was due to the dog getting up and barking like mad for a minute or two. We completely lost track of where we were, so we just moved on it seems like!
4) Turns out that Scott and Mark just kinda had a therapy session about Talisman and seemingly invited Austin to it. There was another about ten minutes on the game that got cut out. Austin's reactions were just too good to remove.
5) If you haven't heard it yet, go listen to Austin's story about Roads and Boats in our most recent Odds and Ends Episode: The Channel Update Edition. It's genuinely funny to me.
